Admissions Review & Decision Process

This page documents the intended controlled workflow. It does not display applicant records and is not a substitute for authentication or role-based access control.

PROCESS

Application → Review → Interview → Decision → Enrollment

Intake

Secure API validates the submission, assigns an application number, timestamps receipt, and stores the record in protected admissions storage.

Completeness Review

Authorized Admissions personnel verify required sections, references, and any approved supporting documentation.

Interview / Follow-Up

When required, Admissions records interview scheduling and requests additional information through controlled channels.

Decision

Pending, Admit, Conditional Admit, Defer, or Deny decisions are recorded with date, authorized reviewer, conditions, and rationale where applicable.

Enrollment Handoff

For admitted applicants, the School creates the enrollment record, assigns the Student ID, and tracks orientation status.

ACCESS CONTROL

Applicant Records Are Restricted

Authentication

Admissions staff access requires an authenticated institutional account.

Role Authorization

Only personnel assigned the appropriate admissions role may view or change application records.

Audit Trail

Material status and decision changes should record who acted and when.

Data Protection

Transport encryption, protected storage, backups, retention rules, and least-privilege access are required.

Portal Activation Is a Deployment Gate

The staff review interface should not be activated until authentication, protected storage, and server-side authorization are deployed and tested.
